Wildlife Viewing

Wildlife viewing opportunities abound on the islands, with the National Parks of Turks & Caicos offering scenic habitats for public recreation and viewing while conserving them for future generations. Humpback whale-watching is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that people travel the world over to experience. From late-December through April, a population of more than 2,500 humpback whales passes through the Columbus Passage, just off the South Caicos shoreline, on their annual migration to the Mouchoir Bank.
