Eco-Friendly

Sailrock will be developed and operated in an eco-friendly manner in order to minimally impact the pristine environment of the island.  Strict development guidelines for construction have been implemented to ensure that as much as possible of South Caicos’ natural assets are preserved for all to enjoy.  Miles of nature trails will welcome nature lovers and hikers to the large areas of open space that will be forever preserved as wildlife habitat.

Sailrock will supply its own water with a state of the art reverse-osmosis plant.  Water for irrigation, where necessary, will be supplied primarily from gray-water and cisterns.  It is contemplated that all private roads on the resort will be limited to electric vehicles (except for delivery and service vehicles), preserving the tranquil island setting of the island and minimizing environmental impact and noise.
